I had been counting down the days and finally it was time to board the coach for a 17 hour journey to Bardonecchia, Italy.

When we arrived everyone was tired but after a big breakfast we headed into town, messing around in the snow!  We had three days of fresh powder, and blue skies for the rest of the week.

After a good night’s sleep we were all raring to get on the slopes and throughout the week we had friendly instructors, numerous falls, hilarious crashes, lots of laughs and three injured teachers!  The kids were all fine!

We spent our evenings doing cool activities such as ice skating, bum boarding and quizzes.  We never went hungry with buffet breakfasts, great lunches and dinners giving us the chance to try some authentic Italian food.

The week sped by creating many memories for everybody.  I have made many friends of all year groups and am planning to go again on the next Therfield ski trip.  If you are too, I would highly recommend it but remember to bring protective eye wear to shield your eyes from Mr Wessell’s neon yellow salopettes!
